I’m Carmel, the proud founder of Savon Lakay, and it means the world to me that our paths have crossed. This brand is more than just skincare — it’s a labor of love, rooted in family, tradition, and the healing power of nature.
Savon Lakay means “soap from home” in Haitian Creole, and that’s exactly what we strive to offer — products that feel like home. Together with my amazing mother, we began this journey out of love and necessity, inspired by our Haitian heritage and a deeply personal mission: to help my daughter find relief from eczema after countless doctor visits and medications failed to soothe her skin.
Motivated by love for her granddaughter, my mom and I got to work crafting something better — gentle, nourishing products made with intention and care. That’s how Savon Lakay was born.
What makes us unique? Every jar of our Body Butter Bath Soufflé Soap is made to order with love and precision. We believe skincare should be personal, luxurious, and comforting — just like home. I personally adore the calming scent and the way our soufflé soap leaves skin feeling soft, hydrated, and pampered.
